Scholarship Fund
The Teulon Healthcare Foundation Inc is dedicated to supporting and enhancing healthcare services in Teulon & surrounding areas. Our objectives include recruiting, maintaining and supporting our local medical staff. In addition, we are dedicated to helping develop our healthcare providers of the future through educational opportunities such as bursaries and scholarships.
Bursaries & Scholarships
The THF offers a scholarship/bursary for area residents that are accepted into a healthcare related program. The amount of the funding available is based on the length of the program of enrollment.
Nursing (BN) / Medicine
- Courses longer than 2 years
- Scholarship/bursary of $1,000 payable upon acceptance into the faculty
Nursing (LPN) / Lab Tech/ EMT/ Healthcare Aid etc
- Courses 6 months – 2 years
- Scholarship/bursary $500 payable upon acceptance into the faculty
Selection Process
The application may be submitted by mail or via email
- Deadline: The Scholarship Committee Chair must receive the application by May 31st of the current year.
- Only the successful candidates will be notified
- Scholarship recipients who withdraw from the program must advise the Scholarship Committee Chair within one week of doing so. Full or partial payment if the scholarship monies may be required after the review of individual circumstances.
